Where the money goes
We open the contact. You run the mandate directly.
Tessara is a place to find each other, not a party to the mandate that follows.
- You pay Tessara once
- The unlock fee is paid by card through our payment provider Stripe. VAT is added and shown separately before you confirm.
- You contract directly
- Fee, scope, duration and notice are agreed between you and the fractional leader, in your own service agreement.
- Mandate payments do not run through Tessara
- The leader is self-employed and invoices you directly. Tessara neither holds funds nor invoices on anyone's behalf, and is not a payment processor for mandates.

Frequently asked questions
- Is browsing profiles free?
- Yes. Creating an account, searching profiles and sending contact requests are all free. You only pay when you unlock a confirmed match.
- What exactly am I buying with the unlock fee?
- The full contact details of a leader who has confirmed interest in your request: email address and phone number. Scope, day rate and contract are agreed directly between the two of you afterwards.
- Is the fee per leader or per company account?
- Per unlocked profile. If you unlock contact details for several leaders, the fee applies each time.
- Does Tessara take a percentage of the mandate?
- No. The unlock fee is the only payment to Tessara. Your agreement with the leader, covering rate, scope and duration, is between you and them.
- Do fractional leaders pay anything?
- No. Only companies pay the unlock fee. Leaders can build a profile and respond to requests at no cost.
- What if the match doesn't work out after unlocking?
- The unlock fee covers the contact unlock, not the outcome of the mandate. We recommend a short initial conversation before committing to scope.
- Are prices different for larger companies?
- No. The fee is the same for every company, regardless of size.
- Is VAT included in the price?
- No. The price shown is exclusive of VAT. Swiss VAT is added at checkout and shown separately before you confirm the payment.
- How do I pay?
- By card, through our payment provider Stripe. Tessara never sees your card details, and the payment covers the unlock only, never the mandate itself.
