The direct path to senior leadership in Switzerland.

Tessara brings Swiss companies together with verified fractional leaders for defined leadership work, without an agency in the middle and without a recurring cut of the mandate.

Why Tessara

Senior leadership shouldn't require a search firm.

In decisive phases, companies usually need more leadership, not necessarily another permanent full-time function. Fractional leaders can close that gap, but finding one is usually slow: personal networks, agencies, or informal referrals, each of which turns a three-month mandate into an agency process.

Tessara makes that experience directly accessible: browse verified profiles, confirm interest on both sides, unlock contact once, and agree the mandate yourselves. After that, the company and the leader deal with each other, on their own terms.

That also defines what Tessara is not. We do not employ or place anyone, we do not deliver mandates, and we do not take a share of what the leader earns. The only thing we sell is the unlock of one confirmed contact.

Who is behind Tessara

Operated by Lyo GmbH in Zürich.

Tessara is a brand of Lyo GmbH, a Swiss company registered in Zürich. The full company details, address and commercial register number are in the imprint.

Verification is carried out by people reading documents, not by an automated score. That is deliberate, and it is why the directory grows carefully rather than quickly.

Accounts, profiles and uploaded documents are stored on infrastructure located in Switzerland. Every processor we use, and where each one sits, is listed in the privacy policy.

Why Switzerland

Built for Swiss companies where responsibility rests on a few key people.

Small and mid-sized companies carry the Swiss economy, and finance, operations or technology often sit with one person alone. When that role has to change hands, or a company grows past what its founders can carry, the need is senior, specific and temporary. That is exactly the shape of a fractional mandate.

Decisions here are made on trust and on references, and rarely on a marketing claim. Tessara is built for that: bilingual, discreet, verified before publication, and priced so nobody has to guess what unlocking a contact costs.

Principles

What we optimise for.

Self-service

You search, request and decide for yourself. There is no account manager in the middle, no intake call before you may see profiles, and no sales follow-up if you decide against a match.

Quality over quantity

Every profile is reviewed by our team before it becomes visible, and again periodically. A profile whose claims we cannot follow does not get published, even when that keeps the directory small.

Problem before title

Companies describe a situation to be solved, not a seat to be filled, and profiles are structured around the problems a leader has actually handled. Matching starts there.

A direct relationship

Once contact is unlocked, scope, fee and duration are agreed between the company and the leader alone. Tessara neither invoices nor holds funds for the mandate, and takes no share of it.
